Tuition Payment Plans and Loans
Tuition Payment Plans and Loans can help cover educational costs, but they must be repaid—most with interest that begins while you’re still in school. We encourage students to borrow wisely, comparing benefits, eligibility requirements, and repayment terms before committing.
Private or “Alternative” Student Loans may also be available through banks, credit unions, or other organizations.

Employer Contributions

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Funding
Lakewood University is approved on multiple state WIOA Eligible Training Provider Lists (ETPL), allowing eligible students to receive workforce funding for career-focused training and education programs. WIOA funding is designed to help individuals gain the skills needed for high-demand jobs—covering tuition, books, and sometimes even related expenses.

Union Education Trust (UET)
If you’re an eligible State of Ohio employee or OCSEA member, you may qualify for UET funding that can cover approved training and education at Lakewood University—often up to a set annual amount with little or no out-of-pocket tuition (subject to UET approval and program limits).
