Barbara Furr comes to Lakewood University as an Advisory Board Member of the Coaching Program. She has earned her BS in Business from the University of Toledo and her Mediation Certification from the American Center of Conflict Resolution.
Barbara has spent years working to help others improve their lives. Initially starting as a licensed Insurance and Subrogation Agent and then having over 15 years of Success Coaching, Advising and Mentoring students seeking Higher Education. She has also served on the Advisory Board for Continuing Education at Penta Career Center, worked as a Success Coach for Tiffin University and held the position of Community Relations Specialist and Career Service Advising at ITT Technical Institute.
Barbara currently serves as a Contract Mediator for the United States Postal Service. She enjoys cooking, watching movies and loves spending time with her family.
