At the following nonprofits, Ali oversaw audits and financial statements, Harriet Tubman Musuem and Educational Center, Teen Fathers, and Community Guidance, Inc. The last of those for over five years. In addition to his successful career, Ali also served as an accounting, finance, and tax instructor for over 5 years at David N.
