Lakewood University is an amazing and convenient career choice. The reason I attended Lakewood University was because of the convenience. I had done sit down college courses in years past and due to trying to work and manage my career Lakewood University helped me to obtain certificates by completing an online course. I would recommend and encourage Lakewood University to anyone who have a situation like mine and would want to obtain a degree or certain credentials that merits them and their achievements.
Lakewood University was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I chose their online program because I have lupus, and I was very ill so going to a campus was not in the picture for me. The professors were kind, and I learned at my own pace, sometimes from a hospital bed or at my kitchen table. Their feedback was always great, and I knew that if I need anything they were right there to help me. I got a job within a week from graduating, which I am told is incredible! I would recommend Lakewood to anyone, they helped me gain the knowledge I needed for a great career. Thanks y’all!
Lakewood University is a great school. As a veteran and full time dad they made sure to work with me and my time restraints. I recommend them to everyone especially fellow veterans. The staff is extremely helpful and graduation came quick.
Lakewood University was a blessing for my family and I. I was able to take classes online at my own pace to become a Pharmacy Technician all while my husband was active duty military. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful with everything you need. They were able to help me with where to take my state test and where to do an internship. They really go above and beyond when it comes to their students.
I enjoyed my learning experience. Although it was done time ago I remember how helpful the instructors were. I would recommend this learning experience to anyone looking to gain a new skill set. If your looking for helpful and engaging staff this is your school.

The professionalism an the accessibility that Lakewood offers is amazing. I have completed two programs with Lakewood so far and I’m very proud to say that I’m currently a Litigation Assistant. I don’t think I would have been able to have the tools to succeed at my current position if it hadn’t been for Lakewood College. I attended Lakewood University and received my certification from National Professional Certification of Mediation through a partnership with the school. The program was easy to use and so computer friendly.
I have attended multiple certification classes at Lakewood University and I have nothing but good things to say about my learning experiences. There are many assets to choosing Lakewood University. Lakewood University has a easy to navigate user interface on their web page that allows students to flow between assignments, reading material and resources. Student Advisers are readily available and keep in contact with those they mentor. The veterans funding is at hand and those who operate in the finance department ensure those who qualify for it, receive it without hassle. I can not say enough good things about Lakewood University.
I enrolled under the Medical Coding program for Lakewood University. They are absolutely amazing! As a military spouse I did not have to pay any tuition. As they are partnered with MyCAA. The instructor was very helpful with questions about course material and answered them within 24 hrs. As it was an online self-paced program. I feel that Lakewood has set me up for success in a career field that I can take with me around the world. I completely recommend them and will continue to further my education with them!
Lakewood University is a flexible and affordable way to earn your degree. As a mother to 4 young children, I needed a fully online program so that I can complete my work in the evenings / weekends when I have free time. The application process was quick and easy and they helped with my VA benefits. The professors are responsive, helpful and supportive.
Lakewood University was one of the best decisions that I’ve made. This school has a lot to offer and is very understanding of school/life balance. When I first began at this school, I started the Pharmacy Tech program while I was expecting. I gave birth to my son halfway through my education and Lakewood allowed me to suspend all of my studies for a few weeks so that I had time to adjust and spend time with our new addition. There are no other colleges around that would have offered this. The classes were not easy however the school and teachers are right there with you when you need help or have questions. It was an amazing experience and I would especially recommend this college to anyone who is needing to balance home/work/school/life. It has been a couple of years now and Lakewood still checks in with me from time to time to see if I need assistance or to let me know when there are new things that might help me to succeed. I absolutely loved my experience with Lakewood University. Very professional and knowledgeable staff who helped me with any questions or problems I had during my program. The process was quick and affordable even for me, a stay at home mom. When I first started this program they had someone help me set it up and apply for all of the aide step by step on the phone. By the end of the set up she gave me her direct line and number to reach her at if I had any more questions or concerns. At the end of the program they offered to help me with job placement and a way to start my internship to get my license and proceed on a path to a better life with an even better career. For that, I am thankful for Lakewood University and would recommend to my friends and family.
Lakewood has been I great experience for me. As a vet I’m able to continue my education in the privacy of my home which is great for me. The lessons are very in depth and informative. I have been treated with nothing but the utmost respect.

My training experience for certified mediator at Lakewood University was thorough and enlightening. As a law school graduate, I’d been trained as a client advocate, but at Lakewood University I was given the tools to discern the difference between a neutral mediator assisting both sides and a lawyer advocate for only one side. It has been truly rewarding.
Lakewood University has been a great experience for me. My husband is in the military and I am a stay home mom. The course I’m taking goes by my day to day schedule, so I am able to make my own times to finish my assignments. The staff is very helpful and encouraging. I get a call about every two weeks from them to see where I am and to see if they can help in any way. I love this school. I would give them an A+!!

Although the last year and a half was extremely hectic at times due to military service as well as typical day-to-day issues that arose, Lakewood University was more than willing to help accommodate my situation. They even helped by checking up on me every so often to make sure I was actively involved in my courses. Every time I called the college they made it a point to help answer questions or direct me to someone else who could. Completed my mediation and paralegal certification. Now working on finding employment within those two fields.

My experience at Lakewood University so far has been excellent. Admissions was so helpful and helped me every step of the way. My academic counselor emails me constantly telling me how much longer I have in my classes. The professors are very helpful and give back feedback on a lot of your assignments. I’m enrolled in the Pharmacy Tech program and Lakewood was awesome with their Veteran support. The class is self-paced but they also keep in touch if they see you’re falling behind.

I love Lakewood University, I’m a mom of 5 and attend online. I also have a disabled husband. Lakewood staff are always there to help.
Before I attended Lakewood University, I made inquiries to other colleges about 6 of them and none of them had what I was looking for, until I found Lakewood University, my first contact was very pleasant and they guided me to their website and their curriculum, and within a few days I was already starting my Mediation certificate, it was very informative and their website was very easy to navigate, my tests every week were very comprehensive and easy to do…I have already mentioned this to many of my friends, due to their work and family is very hard to attend school, I have finish my certificate within the 6 month period. I would not hesitate to recommending this college to anyone I meet.

Lakewood University is an excellent school! I’m personally a mom to a 4 month old baby boy and an Army Wife! The professors are friendly and I always receive a fast reply if I ever have any questions! Everything you need is right in your student account! You have easy access to assignments and your books! You can download a mobile app and have your books right on your phone if you want to read or study on the go! No waiting around to do assignments you complete them at your own pace when you’re ready. I would recommend Lakewood University to anyone!

I am a current student at Lakewood University, I have to say they have the most friendly, helpful staff that I have ever come across. They are there to help you succeed in their programs and have coaches or cheerleaders to check in on you and make sure you are understanding and doing okay with the class. It is work at your own pace, but if life happens they are there to help you with ways to get back on track. I recommend this school for everyone. Especially the busy mom that wants to go back to school but thinks she doesn’t have time for it.
I am a current student of Lakewood University. I’m dually enrolled for pharmacy technician and administrative medical assistant diplomas. I have never had a school as hands on for an online program such as Lakewood University. They have recently developed and implemented what are called Success Coaches. They send weekly status reports and follow up with calls on a regular basis. I love the idea they reach out to me and not wait for me to call them. So would I recommend this nonprofit school for other military spouses or the busy mom or dad? Simple yes!

I started attending the Lakewood University online pharmacy technician course last year. I started to fall behind and Lakewood staff was there to support me 100%! They extended my course for me and worked with my payment options. I basically given up in the course because I thought I was too far behind and they motivated me and worked with me to get it done. I now have all my classwork finished and am studying for my final. Lakewood University is awesome!

Lakewood University has been an extraordinary place to earn my certification. I was a little skeptical of online accreditation, however, I had several friends refer me. I decided to give it a shot. I have had a very rough time personally and the academic advisors have really been incredible working with me, helping me achieve my goals. This school does everything in their power to help you get the education you are seeking and they strive to help you complete your course. Their commitment and dedication to the military and how they work with us, those that are spouses of active duty service members, it means a lot. Because most of the time we’re doing school as well as caring for kids, working, as well as the daily house chores all while our spouses are deployed for months to a year and Lakewood works with you if you need a break or if you need help on making a plan or schedule they work with you and when it comes to you finishing they set you up with an internship and then job placement! It doesn’t get any more personable and helpful, especially from a college. I’m very grateful for this school.

My courses of study, mediation and paralegal, are well organized and content-rich and I am confident that they will be the solid foundation for a successful career in my field. On the rare occasion of a trouble spot, the issue was either promptly addressed or was surprisingly being addressed before my concern was raised, demonstrating an organizational intuition not often seen. My experience of attending Lakewood University for Mediation and Conflict Resolution Certificate training was extremely positive. Lakewood gave me the competitive edge I needed when entering into the job market after my husband served his time in the Army. Since I was well trained in conflict management and communication, my current employer thought I would be an asset to his company. While I was attending Lakewood I knew if I ever had a question my instructor was always prompt to respond and aid in any way I needed. The chapter breakdowns were structured and straight forward. I learned and grew so much while I was a student at Lakewood University and I would refer any of my friends or family to this school!
I have enjoyed my distance learning experience at Lakewood. The teachers are willing to help at any time.

I absolutely love, love , love Lakewood University! They never leave you alone to guess how to do anything. They have support for their students from the time you inquire about the college to enrollment to graduation and even beyond! They even make sure you have the tools to find a job after graduation and may even place you in one or an internship. I found the learning style they use to be flexible, there online classes and materials are easy to use and learning is made easy on the go or in your home. The instructors are prompt in responding to student questions and each student even gets a success coach! I would definitely recommend Lakewood to all my friends and family!
My experiences with Lakewood University, and their staff, have been nothing but positive. From the enrollment process and one of the admissions counselors staying well past her shift to assist me in getting my enrollment completed, to my academic advisor taking the time to give me a call each week to check with me on my progress in completing my degree. Lakewood University cares about your success. They will motivate you every step of the way. I am enrolled in the Pharmacy Technician Program. I currently work in a pharmacy as a tech in-training. This program helps me understand every challenge that I approach on the job and it is definitely helping me prepare for the PTCB. I already feel confident that I will pass the exam because of the tremendous support I receive from Lakewood University. If you are interested in working in a pharmacy, Lakewood University is definitely the place to start. I promise you will not regret it. If Pharmacy is not for you, I highly recommend that you check out the other programs that they offer.
Lakewood University made my dreams come true. This school pushes me to keep going even though I already have kids. And being a military wife going to school for me I thought is impossible, but I do it because of the help of nice staff and supportive instructor. I am not able to do it if they don’t really help me. I got a part time job and being that my husband is deployed with 3 kids they 100% helped me out and supported me. I am glad I found this school and now this is my second course so I am able to get a job easy and continue my career in the future.
