Bill is a senior level Information Technology professional that focuses on the business of IT. Bill has over three decades of progressive responsibility in the information technology discipline, and business consulting experience, in Fortune 300 and entrepreneurial organizations.
Bill started his career working for AmeriTrust Bank where his career steadily advanced as he grew his skills to include large scale network design, implementation and support. After several mergers, Bill led a team at KeyBank that was focused on identifying and evaluating new and emerging technologies. Bill gained valuable experience in assisting IT leadership with modernization, governance structure, portfolio management, IT best practices, methodologies and structure to better realize business value from IT investments.
As the Vice President of Distributed Systems Engineering at KeyBank, Bill provided leadership and vision amid a critical era of adapting to new technology. Bill was the leader of solution delivery and operational efforts of the engineering staff and oversaw the implementation of over $15 million worth of technology solutions on a yearly basis. During this time, he managed a staff of over 100 in a matrixed organization, and devised and implemented key corporate strategies.
With his deep understanding of corporate leadership, Bill joined CTPartners, a global retained executive search firm specializing in executive management with offices across North America, EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. At CTPartners, Bill was the Chief Technology Officer, member of the Operating Committee and leader of the IT Steering Committee. Bill was viewed as a business strategist and change agent with an active leadership role regarding technology architectures and product development. Bill had full accountability for all IT investments and architectural decisions.
In his leadership role at Sherwin Williams, Bill managed a software development team and developed an IT governance model that promoted data driven decision making and focused on business outcomes that optimize value.
