There is a new education benefit available for qualifying veteran students that allows you to attend Lakewood University and receive living expenses if you qualify.
To be eligible for the Veteran Rapid Retraining Assistance Program (VRRAP), you must meet all the requirements listed here.
All of these must be true. You’re:
1. At least 22 years old, but not older than 66
2. Unemployed because of the COVID-19 pandemic
3. Not eligible for GI Bill® or VR&E benefits (or, if you’re eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, you’ve transferred all of your benefits to family members)
4. Not rated as totally disabled because you can’t work
5. Not enrolled in a federal or state jobs program
6. Not receiving unemployment benefits (including CARES Act benefits)
