Becoming a certified pharmacy technician is a huge milestone at Lakewood University. It marks the beginning of a rewarding pharmacy career. But before you can call yourself a certified pharmacy technician, you’ll need to pass a Pharmacy Technician Certification examination.
There are two primary organizations in which you can earn your certification. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA).
For the PTCB examination, a passing score of 1,400 is required, with the range of possible scores on the exam being between 1,000 and 1,600. While the NHA range is 200 to 500 with a passing score of 390.
Below you will see how our pharmacy technician graduates have done on their examinations. Our programs are designed so that you pass the examination the first time.
