Associate Degree Programs Overview
With an Associate of Applied Business in Business Management, you will be in a position to supervise others, decide the daily priorities of your office, delegate projects, and coordinate teams to meet the goals of your organization. You will report to upper management and have room to advance your career into top management in a reasonable amount of time.
The Associate of Applied Business in Business Management is a great opportunity for the individual looking to get a foot in the management door. One of the best things about this two 2-year program is the options it gives to a graduate. After this program, a graduate is skilled in numerous management positions and can work in almost any industry. The graduate also has the foundation to go on to pursue a Bachelors’s or Master’s Degree in many different aspects of business.
Program Description
The Associate of Applied Business in Business Management will prepare students for entry-level positions in business, industry, and non-profit organizations. The program is designed for students who seek to acquire a complete framework in basic business concepts and skills in order to contribute and create solutions for contemporary business problems. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills to apply management, marketing, and accounting concepts to improve operational performance and aid in decision-making skills. The emphasis in this program is placed on marketable skills.
Global Interaction Learning Program
Students in the Associate Degree in Business Management will have access to the Global Interaction Learning Program (GILP).
GILP is an innovative educational initiative designed to provide Lakewood business students with a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons in the realm of international business and enhance their communication skills by connecting with business professionals from across the world.

Lakewood University provides all textbooks, study guides, supplemental materials, achievement exams, and instructional support at no cost to the student.
Administrative Fees (in addition to the tuition above)
Application Fee- $0 for degree programs; $0 for vocational programs (first semester only)
Registration Fee – $200 for degree programs; $125 for vocational programs (first semester only)
Technology/Library Fee – $175 for the first semester and $100 per degree semester thereafter; $250 per vocational program term

Tuition Reimbursement
You may qualify for tuition reimbursement from your employer under the Employee Education Assistance Act, IRS Code, Section 127. Check with your human resources department or supervisor to see if you are eligible.
Qualifications
No one is turned down for the Monthly Payment Plans. However, Lakewood University does perform credit checks for all monthly payment applicants.
