In the Law Office Management Certificate Program, students will be introduced to the language and key concepts of business. Students will also be exposed to the essential functions of a manager and the communication skills required by that role. The program also contains a core focus on law office management and both the hard and soft skills needed to be successful in the field.
This certificate program includes 24 credit hours within Lakewood University’s Associate of Applied Business in Paralegal Studies and can be taken as a stepping stone towards further education.
Law office managers oversee the daily operations of a legal office. Their duties are administrative and it is their responsibility to coordinate and monitor the activities that occur within the legal office. Job outlook is projected to grow 7 percent from 2018 to 2028, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Employment growth will vary widely by industry, and is largely dependent on the rate of industry growth.
