Lakewood University developed its online Project Management Essentials and PMP® Exam Preparation courses to help students effectively plan, orchestrate and control projects in their organizations and, if they choose, pursue Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Lakewood instructors are industry experts who not only work in the field, but also teach in a variety of professional settings and are ideally-positioned to provide our students with unparalleled project management training. Our university-based project management series also features world-class proprietary content.
Project Management Essentials is the first step for professionals who seek fundamental knowledge and skills to immediately apply to their projects and advance their careers. It also helps students earn the educational hours required for PMI’s PMP certification.
Many of our students begin registration for our PMP Exam Preparation, the third course in this online series, after beginning the Project Management course. Details about PMI’s PMP exam prerequisites can be found on their website (pmi.org).
